Firmware engineer, finding out where LLM agents actually help with hardware.

Embedded firmware, FPGA HLS, LLM agents — one standard across all of it: if the tool doesn't confirm it, it didn't happen.

By day

I write firmware for a living — STM32, ThreadX. Datasheets, registers, timing budgets, and the bugs that only show up on real hardware.

By night

Evenings, a bench of dev boards and small experiments in LLM agents for hardware work — HLS optimization so far, bring-up next. Honest benchmarks, no demos that only work once.

Current project: HARPO — a budget-aware LLM agent that repairs and optimizes HLS C/C++, with honest benchmarks showing where a small deterministic recipe library beats unconstrained LLM generation.
